John T. Smyth (architect / project manager)
Owner / President
Mr. Smyth founded Smyth Property Solutions, LLC
in January of 2006 when he decided to pursue his passions
for Residential Architecture full time.
Prior to forming the company, Mr. Smyth worked as a
Senior Designer and Senior Project Manager at a
select number of Design firms, both in Atlanta and in
Washington DC ... including Hendrick Inc., Gensler and
Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP.
As an architect, Mr. Smyth has over 16 years of experience in Residential and
Commercial architecture and an extensive knowledge of the Design and Construction
industries, from concept to completion.
Passion for Residential Architecture and, in particular, the resurgence and
re-beautification of Atlanta's In-town neighborhoods is reflected in Mr. Smyth's
involvement with such communities as Collier Hills, Peachtree Battle (where he is a
resident), Peachtree Hills, Virginia Highlands, Morningside, Druid Hills, Kirkwood,
Oakhurst (Decatur) and East Lake (Decatur).
Mr. Smyth holds a BS degree (in Architecture) from the Georgia Institute of Technology
(GA Tech) and a Master of Architecture degree from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and
State University (VA Tech). He is accredited with the National Council of Architectural
Registration Boards (NCARB).
